pNeuton's History
pNeuton may look like a new ventilator but has simply made it's
public appearance. In fact, pNeuton has been in clinical use
since 1986. Take a peek at pNeuton's history.
- The air ambulance team at the University of Florida, ShandsCair, was unsatisfed with the transport ventilators available
in 1986. They wanted higher pressure capabilities and internal CPAP.
- The first prototype was developed and received the hospital's IRB approval as a custom device for use under the direct
supervision of a physician.
- ShandsCair used the prototype ventilator for many years in over 1,500 critical care transports.
- In 1990, the hospital's Respiratory Care Service needed their own ventilators for hospital-wide transports. Additional
prototypes were made and put into use.
- Those great little prototypes have since been replaced with a fleet of pNeutons. They are used everyday transporting critically
ill patients to all areas of the hospital.

Airon's People
We are committed to bringing you reliable, rugged, quality ventilation products - only the kind we would use ourselves.
Our clinical respiratory care experience in critical care ventilation drives us to provide ventilators designed for the most
critically ill patients. We are always looking for ways to make ventilation safer and more responsive, especially when away
from the critical care unit.
